Simple process to find any password of Broadlink's C1 and C1an Devices


This process is perfectly worked to altai C1an device.

One of my blog follower  informed me that it worked on C1n too.

Finding the password of Boradlink's (Altai C1an and C1n outdoor CPE device)

Process

step 1: power up the device.

step 2: enter fail safe mode by pressing

“ f ”  and pressing  “Enter”    From keyboard ………….. As soon as following line starts to display

Press the [f] key and hit [enter] to enter failsafe mode- regular preinit
-
switching to jffs2mini_fo: using base directory: /mini_fo: using storage directory: /overlay>>>>>>>>>>>> pivot- init -athr_gmac_ring_free Freeing at 0x838f8800athr_gmac_ring_free Freeing at 0x838f9000Please press Enter to activate this console. NET: Registered protocol family 10

If login asked use
                     user: root
           password: superwifi123

step 3: Mount the overlay partition ("rootfs_data") mtd4 as follows:

           > mount -t jffs2 --read-only /dev/mtdblock4 /overlay/
          
step 4:          Goto the following path
          
           > cd /overlay/etc/awrt/config

step 5: read the file password
          
           > cat password
